Hello

Hi, I'm Franny and I believe that everybody can benefit from Pilates regardless of fitness background, physical limitations or age.

It's a holistic approach to movement that is suitable for beginners

to athletes and everyone in between. 

 

If you're looking to improve your performance or general well-being for day to day life, Pilates can be a great addition to your fitness routine.

 

My personal experience is that the discipline's focus on precision of movement and mind-body connection can lead to improved balance, coordination, strength and flexibility.

Whether you're local or visiting on holiday, advanced or complete beginner, my classes welcome everyone. With a clinical background and extensive experience as a Pilates teacher, sessions are designed to be as restorative or as challenging as you would like, supporting you to reach your goals.

 

MY STORY

I'm a qualified nurse and started practicing Pilates to improve chronic back pain which I developed through my work. I found it truly life changing because not only did it sort out my issues but it made me look at my posture and my general movement, highlighting how disconnected I was from my body. With the help and encouragement of a very good teacher who used verbal cues and hands on correction, my body awareness improved so significantly that I decided that I had to learn to teach so I could share it with others. 

 

 

I qualified in 2016 as a Level 3 matwork Pilates teacher with Body Control Pilates, London and teach mat based Pilates to small groups (maximum of 12).  

I strongly believe everyone can do it with the help of adaptations. My aim is to help you experience a better way of moving, so that you can take what you learn in class, into your everyday life, benefiting 24/7.

 

I am not complacent about what I have learnt so far and strive to learn more, literally daily, this includes taking lessons myself. I will always be a work in progress and I think understanding this makes me a better teacher.
