THE CLASS

​

I ask everyone to complete a detailed health and movement questionnaire, this enables me to safely plan your session and add in exercises which can help you! All information is kept as per GDPR guidance and is fully confidential. If you would like to discuss anything to do with your form please talk to me.

I will always ask how everyone is before we start moving. There are occasional circumstances where it may not be safe for you to participate and I reserve the right not to teach you on that occasion. This will be for your safety and will only be done as a last resort ie if it is not possible to manage with moderations to exercises. I will issue a catch up token for you to use once the issue has resolved.

If in any doubt please contact me before you attend the class.

​What happens in class stays in class! - I expect us all to treat each other with the utmost respect. I encourage discussion/questions/banter but please remember some people have to summon all their confidence to join a group class - it needs to be a safe, nurturing space for everyone. 

​

I actively encourage you to make requests and suggestions for any movement you would like me to incorporate into our sessions as long as I can make it 'Pilates’!

​

I may do ‘hands on' correction and often mention people by name to help with alignment, so you can get the most out of your sessions - if you would rather I didn’t do this with you, no problem, just let me know.

​

Classes start promptly, if you're late please still come but join in quietly.

COMMUNICATION & UNFORESEEN EVENTS

I try to be as responsive as possible and will always get back to you within 48 hrs.

If it’s more urgent please ring me.​

 

If due to my illness or any other unforeseen event the class can't run, I will let you know ASAP and offer you a refund.

​

Please can you ensure your contact details are up to date.

​EQUIPMENT

​

Please bring your own mat and head cushion or folded up towel - it's nicer for you to have your own and you can use them for home practice too!  

​

If you forget there are some at the venues. 

​

I often use small equipment which I’ll provide.

​

 Sessions are ideally done in bare or socked feet, however if you have foot or significant balance issues please feel free to wear clean flexible running type shoes.

PAYMENT​

There are only two pricing options - block price (which is discounted and guarantees your space for the entire block) and PAYG.

​​

A Swapboard​ is provided to enable block booking clients to catch up missed classes.

​

The cost for those joining part way through a block will be for the remaining weeks at a rate of £10 per session.

​​​

Drop in classes are available on request. If you're a block client and transfer to a 'drop in' option your space cannot be held in classes that have a waiting list.

​

Payment is preferred via BACS, please contact me for details.
